Emergency hospitalization arrangement

2016.12.31-20:00

PROMA received a report from the insurance company that a client had a disease in Daqing and was now on the high-speed train back to Shanghai, requesting to be admitted to Shanghai Huashan hospital. PROMA obtained the cases (including CT reports) in Daqing hospital from the client's family members and contacted Huashan hospital and relevant experts immediately after the initial analysis of the disease. The insurance company also informed us that they had started other providers as well.


2016.12.31-20:00

PROMA arranged the patient to be admitted to the emergency observation ward of Huashan hospital immediately, followed up the client's condition and arranged hospitalization.


2016.12.31-23:30

Two experts commissioned by PROMA (professor Zhong of Huashan general hospital and vice President Qin East Huashan hospital) gave the same diagnosis: the client had a malignant tumor (glioma) that needed surgery ASAP.


2017.1.1 afternoon

PROMA reported the progress of the operation arrangement to the customer: Professor Zhong from Huashan general hospital could not confirm the bed status during the New Year holiday (the earliest date to be confirmed is 3rd Jan). President Qin of East Huashang hospital confirmed that he could be hospitalized on January 2nd. At the same time, PROMA provides information related to the expenses of two hospitals: the medical expenses of the general hospital can be admitted into the medical insurance; East hospital can settle accounts according to medical insurance standard.

After considering their economic status, the client's family confirmed and chose the hospitalization and operation in Huashan general hospital. At the same time, the insurance company reported that other service providers had withdrawn from the service because they could not arrange hospitalization in Huashan general hospital within a short time.

2017.1.3

After Professor Zhong went to work, PROMA successfully arranged urgent medical treatment and MRI examination for the client.


2017.1.4

PROMA accompanied the client to visit the doctor again, assisted in communicating with Professor Zhong about the condition, and understood the advantages and disadvantages of surgical options and the prognosis. Professor Zhong issued the admission form.
